Towson University is located in the northern suburbs of Baltimore County, MD. Originally founded in 1866 TU has become one of the top state intuitions in the nation and within the Maryland school system. Towson University has almost 20,000 students studying over 110 academic program. We offer traditional, suite and apartment style housing on and off campus among our 18 residence halls. With almost 30 dining options, 280+ student clubs and organizations, Greek Life and 19 NCAA Div I teams students will have a vibrant and active campus experience. TU offers small class sizes with a 14:1 student teacher ratio and average class size of 24 students.
